A quick life update

It's been quiet here for the past few months. Not because little has happened, but because so much has happened that I've barely had time to write about it. So here's a quick life update.

The loveliest moment came on June 27: I married my beloved Alexy in Kongsberg Church. Afterwards, we gathered 83 guests for a barn celebration at Søstrene Storaas. It was the hottest day of the summer, and our guests nearly melted — but what a wonderful day it was! Since then, we've been enjoying life as husband and wife, together with our daughter Emma Sofie, who seems to grow faster every day.

At Akari, I've also been deeply involved in a project that has shaped both spring and autumn. Prototypes I started building last year have grown into what we've now launched as Akari Engine. I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved together. I've written a separate article about it.

Diggs is moving forward too. I've been in touch with a university about the research and development project and received encouraging confirmation that the subject is highly relevant. We've established a connection, and I hope we can explore it further this autumn. At work, it's also exciting to see the ideas around a more European technology stack — ideas I started sketching in spring 2025 — finding a growing place in how we think at Akari.

There are projects taking shape at home as well, from work on the house to digital ideas. One of them could become a substantial proof of concept when it's ready. I have to keep it under wraps for now, but I'm looking forward to sharing more.

There are a lot of balls in the air, and I'm enjoying every minute. I may use diggs.no more as a logbook from here on. If things get a little more personal now and then, it's simply because my enthusiasm is spilling over.
